Work Camp

Nothing ignites spiritual growth like putting your Christian faith into action. The results are amazing as students get away from their home and travel to a community with a desire to serve God. As students serve people in Christ's name (and with a little guidance and nurturing), they grow in faith and character - and have loads of fun at the same time.

This year we will visit New Castle, PA from July 17 to 24. Have a blast in the fireworks capital of America! Lawrence County is where two great fireworks companies got their start, and things are still sparkling in this county on the edge of Amish country. But there is a bit of a problem: Lawrence County Social Services has a three-and-a-half-year-long list of homes that need to be repaired or upgraded. But with your assistance, you can take care of two years of that list through this Workcamp. You'll be helping good people, lighting up their hearts with the love of Jesus.

You will change!!!

"We were all complete strangers with one thing in common; we came to serve the town of Sullivan and God. But by the end of the week we had made so many new friends and learned so much about other people and their religions, it was amazing. Overall, the whole work camp experience taught me so much about what it means to be a Christian and how much helping someone out can make you smile." Erin Birschbach - Workcamper

And you will change others!!!

"All we ever read about in the newspaper or see on the television are the bad teens involved in crime. I was shocked to see so many young people willing to help me with chores that I am no longer capable of doing myself. I can't believe they actually raised the money to buy paint and everything. They not only gave my house new life, they gave my faith new life too. May God bless each and everyone that came to Sullivan to help us." Anonymous Resident
