Baptism Preparation Classes

The Baptism Preparation Class is taught by a parish couple with young children, who really appreciate the Sacrament of Baptism and love to share their enthusiasm with other new parents. Attendance at this one-time class, in preparation for Baptism, is required.

The purpose of the class is to give parents the chance to realize the commitment needed from them for the Rite of Baptism, the obligation they have to their child, and to ensure that they are prepared to present their child for the Sacrament of Baptism. We strongly encourage parents to attend this class prior to the birth of their child. Godparents are encouraged to attend this informal and inspirational class with the parents.

Class is held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Rectory.

If you have any questions, please call Dan or Lynette Shepherd at 251-3747.

Marriage

Couples who wish to have their wedding at St. Anthony Parish must contact Father Dennis at least six months prior to the intended date of marriage.  The Catholic party must be a registered and practicing member of the parish for at least six months prior to the start of marriage preparation.

Anointing of the Sick

Parishioners who are planning to have surgery or entering the hospital for other reasons are encouraged to celebrate the sacrament of the Annointing of the Sick prior to hospitalization.  Please call the Parish Office for arrangements.

In the Hospital

When entering the hospital, please contact the Parish Office so that the priest is aware of your hospitalization.  He will be happy to make a pastoral visit if you wish.
